Rutvi has extensive 16+ years of career in providing orthopedic Physical Therapy. She is a manual therapist preferring individualized interventions and one-on-one treatment. Rutvi has spent the first 5 years of her career working with a well-known Physiatrist and yoga researcher-Dr. Loren Fishman at his Manhattan, NY facility.
Rutvi has completed numerous continuing education courses enabling her to provide the best & the most applicable treatment to her patients. Her additional training includes the Mckenzie approach in the treatment of cervical and lumbar pain & injuries, Stanley Paris in her treatment of spine, upper & lower extremities, Maitland approach in the treatment of the spine, peripheral extremities and core/lumbar stabilization, Mulligan manual approach in the treatment of the spine and peripheral extremities.
Further, she is certified in Graston Technique in the treatment of myofascial and trigger point release and Functional Movement Screening in treatment of various movement dysfunctions.
Rutvi is also a certified Yoga teacher. This enables her to combine the yoga approach for rehabilitation.

She continued her education at Drexel University where she obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree with an orthopedic concentration. She has been practicing physical therapy in NJ since 2007. She has experience treating patients in several settings including outpatient, sub-acute rehab, and long-term care. She treats patients as individuals with a personalized approach to treatment sessions. She has experience treating orthopedic conditions as well as gait and balance dysfunction. Amanda also is a registered yoga teacher (RYT200).
